Asian Games swimming finishes in Tokyo on Sep 25. The short course season then runs through three World Cup stops in October and ends at Short Course Worlds in Beijing, Dec 1–6.

2027 swimming schedule

Pool swimming at the Budapest World Championships runs Jul 10–18 and counts toward LA 2028 qualification. Swimming dates for the Pan American, Pacific and SEA Games are not out yet, so those rows show the full Games dates.

2028 swimming schedule

US Olympic Trials run Jun 9–17 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Olympic swimming follows at SoFi Stadium, Jul 22–30, and closes the Games, with the 50m backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly on the Olympic program for the first time. Rows marked To be confirmed stay at the bottom until dates are announced.
